Limeburners M92 Review

limeburners m92 This Limeburners M92 is part of a series of three small batch whiskies from Australian distillery Limeburners which have been provided to me by Andrew (@ardbaggie) who is their UK representative.

This dram was matured in an American Oak sherry cask barrelled on the 21/11/2009 and bottled on the 9/10/2013 making it just under 4 years old which is astonishing as it really does taste much older.

Many thanks to Andrew (@ardbaggie) and Limeburners for the official sample.

Tasting Notes & Details

Nose

initially quite a fresh and fruity nose with a dusty turkish carpet underlying it, there's hints of chocolate limes and a really fresh woodiness and gentle note of pink grapefruit and white chocolate.

Palate

Sweet and smooth with grapefruit and choolate limes, lots of lovely woodiness in here with hints of oil and vanilla coated wood sap.

Finish

sweet and oily
