Loch Lomond / That Boutique-y Whisky Company

Loch Lomond Batch 1 (that Boutique-y Whisky Company) Review

Loch Lomond Batch 1 (that Boutique-y Whisky Company) A fantastic dram from the creative geniusus at That Boutique-y Whisky Company this is the Loch Lomond Batch 1.

A distillery that i've tried a few times now and thought very much that it was yummy.

Masses of orchard fruits in here, i could spend all day with this one..

Go get one now from Master of Malt.

Thanks to the guys at Maverick Drinks for the official sample.

Tasting Notes & Details

Nose

This is a really interesting nose, very interesting and herbal/botanical with tomato plant leaf and very gentle grated ginger and some edges of orchard fruit with crunchy red apples and soft sweet pears.

Palate

much more of the grated ginger but not too much that it makes it too spicy, theres a mouthwatering sweetness in there too that's like cherry liquorice twists that i remember eating as a kid

Finish

more cherry liquorice twists and hiding ginger snap biscuits
