SMWS 132.3 Dark, Mysterious and Seductive Review

The Scotch Malt Whisky Society This is not part of the Japanese Duo but this SMWS 132.3 Dark, Mysterious and Seductive was sent as a wee sample to me by Joe (@smwslondon) from the The Scotch Malt Whisky Society London venue..

I really did prefer the 132.2 to this one but this is still a very top quality dram that you would easily enjoy on many a special occasion. .

I can't say it enough, if you're not a member of the The Scotch Malt Whisky Society then why not? you really should just go join now.

Tasting Notes & Details

Nose

First through the nostrils is a slight hint of dusty floorboards before a whack of molasses and galia melon combine with rum and raisin vanilla ice cream, then there's some furniture polish and waxy oilyness too, before a hint of lavender oil rounds it all off.

Palate

quite a large spike of alcohol at first with a very malty, dusty note coming through before some fruit joins in

Finish

long spicy and dusty.
