Discovery Road Four Lions 58% Review

Discovery Road Four Lions It's fantastic to see new independant bottlers and when that independant bottler is the very awesome Dominic Roskrow (@whiskytasting), who is widely remembered for his books and time working for Whisky magazine, then it becomes very exctiting indeed.

Dominic now runs his World Whisky business and has just released a range of world whisky drams under his "Discovery Road" banner.

A big powerful banana toffee sweet and edible dram I really like this dram.

I absolutely love the bottle style which look very decanter like and would look lovely on any whisky shelf.

Brilliant prices also why not pop over to Master of Malt to pick up one yourself.

Huge thanks to Dominic for the official sample.

Tasting Notes & Details

Oooooo I really like the nose on this initially a note of toffee specifically Thorntons original banana toffee which I love, there's some dried banana chips also, then there's a hint of sour bread dough in there that works lovely with the sweet toffee

Sour dough comes through first On the palate with dried banana chips again followed by more toffee caramel yumminess.

Sweet banana toffee Mixing about.
