Aberlour 16 Year Old Double Cask Matured Review

Aberlour 16 The Aberlour Tweet Tasting organised by Steve Rush (@thewhiskywire) gave me the chance to try this lovely Aberlour 16.

A more refined and graceful version of the 12 Year Old this really does take on what the 12 has done and add a huge chunk more settled yumminess to it.

Again you can easily pick one up from Master of Malt and some other whisky specialists

Tasting Notes & Details

Nose

sweet orange/clementine with mr kipling apple pies and a hint of undercooked dough something a touch tingly in there too, not quite spicy but heading that way like a small amount of nutmeg
