Old Pulteney / Old Pulteney

Old Pulteney Navigator Review

Old Pulteney Navigator I recently managed to get onto an Old Pulteney Twitter Tasting, but I unfortuanately i managed to miss the tasting due to some family issues, but as some others had not received their drams in time we ended up redoing it, last night, so my first time tasting this dram.

Non age statement and with casks both under and over 10 years old in here it doesn't taste young but is actually really nice and fruity, and certainly works for me.

Why not pop over to Master of Malt to get one for yourself.

Tasting Notes & Details

Nose

initially quite creamy and bready on the nose - bread and butter pudding maybe, with fruit beginning to come through, freshly scraped vanilla & bramley apple touches of christmas pine needles (no i'm not next to the tree) coming throught too

Palate

really quite fruity here lemon peel/zest and bramley apple with a spicy coating, maybe cinnamon

salty homemade chips on a chip butty
