Arran The Millennium Casks Review

Arran The millennium casks Yet again that man Steve Rush (@thewhiskywire) from The Whisky Wire has outdone himself with another brilliant Twitter Tasting, this time involving the island beauties from Arran.

I've had a fair few Arran whiskies so far, so only notes tonight from the new to me one, but i've always enjoyed them and even have another couple of Single Cask SMWS versions to get through in the whisky cupboard.

Why not pop along to Royal Mile Whiskies and try a bottle for yourself

Tasting Notes & Details

Nose

The first things i get here are Menthol and Vanilla essence then come along touches of Mr sheen and bitter bramley apples with malt loaf and undercooked pastry bringing up the rear

Palate

Initially rosewater, even some traditional turkish delight), and undercooked pastry with bramley apples then vanilla cheesecake and grated nutmeg

Finish

WOW powerful with grated nutmeg and hints of ginger.
