Glenburgie / That Boutique-y Whisky Company

Glenburgie - Batch 1 (That Boutique-y Whisky Company) Review

Glenburgie - Batch 1 (That Boutique-y Whisky Company) Always interesting to try some drams that i haven't much exposure to so it's always good to try them.

I've had a single cask Glenburgie before as part of a Ballantines 12 year old deconstruction, and yet again this really does nose and taste well, certainly a good reason for it being one of the base drams for Ballantines.

Certainly worth a wee dram at least from Master of Malt

Tasting Notes & Details

Nose

Initially it's very spicy on the nose with a very familiar herby leafy spicy note that has edges of oak scrapings and pineapple Juice along with a hint of vanilla essence infused sultanas.

Palate

Initially sweet and sour sauce with herbal notes and oak leaf Sauce with icing sugar

Finish

Oak leaf sauce & nutmeg with icing sugar
