Benromach / Benromach

Benromach Organic Review

benromach organic Yet another really interesting dram that I tried recently at Livingston Whisky Club.

Benromach Organic is the first Soil Association certified Organic single malt whisky and has enjoyed maturation in new oak.

I really enjoyed this dram, it's well worth picking up and giving a try, with spice and gentlre smoke it works really well.
Pick up a bottle of this lovely bargain dram from Master of Malt and try it for yourself.

Tasting Notes & Details

Nose

the first note for me is fresh malt loaf, it almost goes smoky but stays more on the fresh malted barley note, there's hints of fruit (apples, raisins) and a waxy resin note also

Palate

mixed fruit and nut, crushed nuts with raisins and sultanas covered in a cinnamon dusting

Finish

A kick of cinnamon and nutmeg
