Balvenie DoubleWood 17 Year Old Review

Balvenie Doublewood 17 Year Old A couple of weeks ago I was lucky enough to go to The Balvenie Fete in Edinburgh. This event allowed casual passers by to pop in, sample some The Balvenie whiskies and learn a bit more about whisky, and The Balvenie.

There was also a prebookable tasting for The Balvenie Warehouse 24 members which went through 5 drams from their fantastic range, this was one of those drams.

Like the 12 year old expression this Balvenie has been matured in two types of cask, the key difference this has been given an extra five years of cask ageing, i really think those extra few years have worked wonders and i really enjoyed this dram.

You can pick up one of these crackers from Master Of Malt

If you haven't already i'd very much suggest you sign up to The Balvenie Warehouse 24 for some fantastic offeres and experiences.
