anCnoc Peter Arkle 3rd Edition Bricks Review

anCnoc Peter Arkle 3rd Edition 'Bricks' Another stroke of luck as i was selected by Lukasz from Alembic Comms to take part in a tweet tasting of this new Peter Arkle expression from anCnoc.

This is the 4th from the series, with Editions 1 and 2 and a seperate Travel Retail release, all cracking drams.

This one had a bit of a rubber balloon note but i don't find that a negative and actually think it added well to the dram.

Why not pop straight over to the anCnoc Shop and pick up your bottle.

Tasting Notes & Details

Nose

initially there's some dried fruit sultanas and raisins then a touch of rubber like the taste of blowing up a balloon there's some sweet syrupy sweetness and demerera sugar and a touch of spice.

Palate

spicy and cereal notes, dry with weetabix and a touch of oak I was surprised at the lack of fruit here.

Finish

oak, spice and cereal, very dry
