Glenlivet 15 Year Old French Oak Review

Glenlivet 15 Year Old French OakTasted as part of the Glenlivet Alpha Tweet tasting with The Whisky Wire (@thewhiskywire)

Another cracker of a dram, this was matured in French Limousin Oak casks. Limousin Oak is a popular choice for maturation of Cognac, which gives it a real dark fruit fruityness and brings out some toffee and liquorice notes along with the tropical fruits of the 12.
