Dalmore / Dalmore

Dalmore Valour Review

Dalmore Valour I was lucky to sample this recent release into the Travel Retail market, The Dalmore Valour, after recieving a sample directly from Dalmore.

I like The Dalmore, especially the Cigar Malt Reserve, so i was really excited about trying this new release.

With the use of some Port finishing as well as the normal sherry cask maturation this is a really fruity dram with hints of plum jam and chocolate.

If you spot this whilst passing through an airport i would say pick up a bottle, it's a lovely dram and worthy of a place on the whisky shelf at home.

Tasting Notes & Details

the nose really kicks off with the hints from the port pipe with Plum Jam with some candied orange. theres a lovely toffied note that works with the jam and the gentle oak notes along with some dark fruits dipped in chocolate.

Palate
