Tobermory Batch 1 (That Boutique-y Whisky Company) Review

Tobermory Batch 1 (That Boutique-y Whisky Company) Tonights review is of the Tobermory Batch 1 (That Boutique-y Whisky Company) and it was one that i didnt get on too well with.

Like everything in the world sometimes people have differing opinions and for this i wasn't keen on the nose, the palate was lovely but the nose was a quite off-putting for me.

like everything on this site my word is not gospel and i would recommend you try for yourself but unfortuanately this time it didn't work for me.

If you want to try it pop over to the guys at Master of Malt who had kindly provided this sample

Tasting Notes & Details

Nose

i have to be honest and say i'm really not into the initial notes from this whisky, to me it comes across quite like cheesy sweaty feet, it does settle into the glass though and become a little more fruity, with winter berries and light pickled onions.

Palate

pickled onion monster munch with more winter berries and some lactic / butter notes, reminds me a little of baby vomit.

Finish

long finish really prickly pickled onion monster munch.
