Initial notes of sweet chocolate covered toffee and sweet fruits, plum and nectarine with a touch of weetabix and lemon curd. After a while in the glass it becomes quite "new makey" which i really like.
Tasted at Glasgow's Whisky Club's Tomatin Night, this is the Tomatin Legacy
First up was the very new, only bottled and out to stores last week, Tomatin Legacy, a No Age Statement whisky from Tomatin aimed at being highly drinkable and priced to match at only £25.99 RRP. A mix of ex Bourbon and virgin oak casks in the make up of this one.
I really enjoyed this dram and will definitely be picking up a bottle in the coming weeks.
