Cutty Sark 25 Year Old Review

Cutty Sark 25 YEar Old Next up in my month of Blended whiskies in the Cutty Sark 25 Year Old.

I need to thank my good friend John McCheyne (@SMWSAmbassador) for the sames of this gorgeous old blend from Cutty Sark, the fruity and chocolate notes in this dram are amazing and it really shows that a Blend can perform just as well as many Single Malts.

If you're unsure don't be just pop to Master of Malt and buy a bottle.

Tasting Notes & Details

Nose

initially a lightly floral nose which opens up into wafts of gentle wheat and an overwhelming gorgrous note of dried fruits, the sultanas and raisins mix with the floral notes and after a little in glass time theres a touch of dewy grass / freshly cut grass as well.

Palate

Dried fruits are to the forefront although dark chocolate and a touch of spice, like one of the green and blacks dark chocolate with a touch of chili

Finish

Smooth with a gentle lick of spice.
