First up was this cracking Bruichladdich The Organic a cracker of a dram that i really really enjoyed and has instantly been added to the i need a bottle of this list. Fully traceable back to the farms that the barley came from this really does represent Islay well.

Tasting Notes & Details

Nose

Definitely has a grape like quality, lots of nice oak and vanilla custard, touches of the fruity malt loaf that my wife likes too Settles in the glass really nicely and goes quite like good quality custard creams

Palate

oh thats quite light and not what i was expecting, lots of lovely custard creams and malt loaf with a dash of quality white wine

Finish

popping candy sensation as it warms the cheeks
