Tomintoul 12 Year Old Portwood Finish Review

Tomintoul 12 Year Old Portwood Finish I really have enjoyed any of the other Tomintoul expressions i've had in the past, and liking Port wood finishes really had me excited about it.

I really enjoyed this dram and would highly recommend you try some of this and it's sibling the Tomintoul Oloroso Sherry Finish.

Tasting Notes & Details

Nose

Initially the nose on this dram starts with some malty cereal notes before jumping into a large jar of fruity jam, there's a

Palate

tangy fruit jam, flat vimto and ribena with touches of biscuity cereal, like dunking a digestive in ribena.

Finish

Lots of floral and fruit jam and a little tickle of an afterglow
