Glengoyne 21 Year Old Review

Glengoyne 21 My bro and dramming partner David (@chunk1612) picked up a bottle of this lovely dram recently and i was desperate to have a wee try, the Glengoyne 17 was lovely so i had big expectations for this dram.

I was not disappointed and it's made me even more keen on making it to The Glengoyne distillery for the tour.

Why not pop to The Whisky Exchange and grab your bottle now, you won't regret it.

Tasting Notes & Details

Nose

this is one of those whiskies where the nosing notes of "nom nom nom" should suffice. many whiskies require small sniffs before the alcoholprickles your nose too much, with this whisky you can simply inhale again and again for as long as you like. Applesand sultanas and raisins covered in sweet maple syrup and manuka honey with touches of wood sap.

Palate

Clove invused apples with more maple syrup and honey, wrapped up in a delicious dried fruit cake

Finish

lovely dram with a flurry of clove like spice
