Cragganmore Distillers Edition (1997-2010) Review

Cragganmore Distillers Edition This cracking Cragganmore 1997 Port Wood Finish - Distillers Edition was a sample i received from Adrian (@mynameisgone) and i'm gutted to find out this version is sold out.

I've really taken to drinking Port matured and port finished whiskies, i'm a big fan of the juicy jam like flavours that the port casks add to whisky and i really need to try more port finished whisky.

This version is sold out at Master of Malt but the 1998 version is still available. Thanks to Adrian for pointing out that this version is actually still available from The Whisky Exchange

Nice juicy fruit red current jam and with cereal notes, wheaty and a little dewy with citrus fruits, mainly orange.
