Glenkinchie 12 Year Old Review

Glenkinchie 12 year Old Today we managed to travel to Glenkinchie Distillery for the tour and had a wee dram of Glenkinchie 12 Year Old, i had a bottle of this in the house also that i hadn't opened so it was a good chance to try it.

Really impressed with this lovely lowland whisky and really is the kind of style that i enjoy.

You can pick up a really well priced bottle of this from Master of Malt.

Tasting Notes & Details

Nose

the epitomy of a lowland, sweet and fresh and floral with cereal notes and touches of hard fruits (crunchy apples and pears), Reminds me of hay bales and newly cut grass.

Palate

crunchy apples, fresh and floral lots of cereal hits and a little oaty.

Finish

clean and crisp, shortish finish but seriously smooth
