Benromach Traditional I picked up this Benromach Traditional before Christmas and only just got around to trying it this week.

I was really surprised at the fact that this was peated i really wasnt expecting it at all but it has this lovely sweetness underlying it.

You can pick up a bottle from Master of Malt.

Tasting Notes & Details

Nose

oh this is a lot smokier than i was expecting, a touch of pine cones, freshness, sweet and a little honeyed, some crushed cashew nuts.

Palate

thick creamy and buttery with a touch of chinese allspice, a touch of manuka honey also

Finish

a lot of heat with pepper and spice
