Four Roses Bourbon As a wee reminder that it's not just Scotch reviews on this site here's the second of a couple of Bourbon reviews being Four Roses Bourbon.

Distilled and bottled by Four Roses themselves which is a brand that dates back to the late 19 century. This Yellow Label bottling of Four Roses was released for the European and Japanese markets and is made up of whiskeys aged between 5 and 6 years of age.

Tasting Notes & Details

Nose

Dewy grass and freshly fallen pine cones combine with some oak woodyness and vanilla custard with caramelised sugar and manuka honey.

Palate

creamy and sweet, with honey and vanilla, a bit like a lovely caramelly creme brule

Finish

sweet honey and sugar with vanilla
