Penderyn Port Wood Review

Penderyn Port Second of two reviews of whiskies from the brilliant Welsh Distillery Penderyn. This one is Penderyn Port Wood and the sample was sent to me by the very nice Dave Worthington (@WhiskyDiscovery) from the WhiskyDiscovery blog

Originally created for the export market and only available from our distillery shop and a few select outlets, due to its popularly Penderyn decided to make Portwood 41 available to online customers.

Bottled at 41% abv, Portwood 41 is matured in Bourbon barrels and finished in port casks, giving it a rich brown hue and a sweet, lingering finish.

You can buy this directly from the distillery via their online shop.
