Black Bull 12 Year Old Review

Black Bull 12 Year Old Tasted as part of Femke (@Girl_Whisky) of whiskygirl.nl's MTWTA_2 (Mystery Twitter Whisky Tasting Adventure) whisky tasting on 1st November.

This was a really rich nose and palatte and really struck me as being a fantastic sherried whisky, i would never have guessed at it being 50% Malt 50% grain, and i will definitely be picking up a bottle.

You can pick up a bottle from Master of Malt

Tasting Notes & Details

Rich fruit, not quite cakey, but definitely rich fruit, orange peel and sultanas, a bit of furniture polish and lots of oak

strikingly fruity, acetone, malty and oaky, has a lot going on, pulls the palatte in different directions

Really rich fruit still
