Jura The Bay 12 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky Review

Jura The Bay 12 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky None of us can really define exactly what makes us love a distillery, or why, and Jura is that distillery for me, i can't say why i love it but i do, the whisky, the place, the story, everything works for me, and I know it doesn't for many others, but thats what makes it all interesting for us.

This travel retail exclusive 12 year old is a combination of American oak ex bourbon and ex Pedro Ximinez sherry and contains a mix of both peated and unpeated whisky.

Very much up my street this one I want a bottle of it, that I can get through pretty quickly, lots of rum and plum ice cream and Jamaica cake, syrup sweetness and vanilla cream, an utterly delicious drop of whisky.

If you're interested in one you can preorder before you travel at World Duty Free

Initially a touch dusty, dunnage warehouse and sweet raisins, rum and plum ice cream, jamaica cake, green tin of golden syrup, some fruit scones which are a little undercooked

There's a touch of smoke, but it's light puffs of cottage fireplace smoke, ginger and more jamaica cake, rum and plum ice cream again with a quenelle of Chantilly cream on top

Sweet, soft, milky, gingery
