Jura The Road Single Malt Scotch Whisky Review

Jura The Road Single Malt Scotch Whisky Despite the fact i'm a huge fan of this distillery, there are still times when even i find one that isn't up to my standards and don't really agree with it, and this is one of those.

This travel retail exclusive is matured in ex bourbon barrels then finished in Pedro Ximinez Sherry barrels and for me something just doesn't work at all here.

There are some nice notes in here but the overriding note i got was a "dirty" note, like dirty dishwater, greasy, something not great and the lactic notes were strong and overpowering. If Treacle topped cabbage is your thing you may like this but it wasnt for me.

If you're interested in one you can preorder before you travel at World Duty Free.

Thanks to The Whisky Wire for including me on the tweet tasting.
