Grants Rum Cask Finish Blended Scotch Whisky Review

Grants Rum Cask Finish Blended Scotch Whisky A blended Scotch finished in ex rum casks, so soft and sweet, with added sweetness, this sounds right up my street! This dram was tasted as part of a tweet tasting featuring drams from the new Grants range of blended Scotch.

I tend to quite enjoy rum matured or finished drams, so a light blended scotch finished in rum casks, that does sound pretty damn sweet and tasty to me.

This has fruity notes, tropical fruit, along with rum babas and other pastry goods, some tangy orangey meaty notes also, really quite an interesting dram this.

Available from Supermarkets for around the £15-18 mark this is sweet, and tasty, and one i'd happy sip away at whilst watching a film, reading a book etc.

Thanks to The Whisky Wire for including me in this tweet tasting.
