Teaninich / Claxtons

Claxtons Teaninich 1999 19 Years Old Review

Claxtons Teaninich 1999 19 Years Old This Teaninch, a distillery i haven't had a huge amount of, was tasted as part of a tweet tasting featuring drams from the Claxtons independant bottlers.

The nose on this dram is exceptional, it has one of those noses you could happily sit sniffing all evening and not get bored of, there's citrus notes, sweet vanilla, apples and a hint of nutmeg.

The palate has a spicy white pepper coated apple strudel note, along with tropical fruits and furniture polish.

The Teaninch i've had have generally been pretty good and very much up my street, and this is no different, a hugely tasty dram and one i could drink all night long.

Grab this at specialists like Master of Malt.

Thanks to The Whisky Wire for including me in this tweet tasting.
