Thatchers Haze Cloudy Cider Review

Thatchers Haze Cloudy Cider Another supermarket purchase, picked out especially after Steve Prentice, my mate who happens to live in Cider country, told me this was top of his go to list.

Thatchers uses Discovery, Falstaff, Gala and Jonagold eating apples in Haze to create a Clean crisp cider, but for me it’s got that little hint of sweetness that makes it utterly moreish for me and very much a summer easy drinking cider.

Light on the nose, filled with flavour on the palate, this is a seriously good cider.

Tasting Notes & Details

Nose

Quite light, need to stick Your nose right into the glass to get anything from it, but its so worth it, juicy cloudy apple juice, hints of toffee apple/caramel and that lovely farmyard note from good quality cider, some fizz up the nose though.

Palate

Oh yum, tasty stuff, the caramel has gone and its more farmyard and cloudy apple juice, fresh and refreshing, hints of citrus notes an a little honey sweetness coming through.

Finish

Sweet and juicy, proper cider could drink tonnes of this
