Sheppys VAT 07 Premium Cloudy Cider Review

Sheppys VAT 07 Premium Cloudy Cider A quick wander around any decent sized supermarket nowadays will let you find a range of interesting craft ciders, with Sheppys being a particular favourite it was good to find this VAT 07 premium Cloudy Cider.

A blend of different apples this contains Michelin, Harry Masters Jersey, Brown & Dabinett.

There's a tasty note of toffee apple on the nose that just gets better and better and invites you in to sip, the palate is just as good, buttery croissants, toffee apples and caramel werthers are there in bulk.

This is the ideal Halloween cider for the flavours but i found it seriously refreshing on a 25C sunny Scottish evening as i enjoyed the summer sun in the garden with a cider and a cigar.

I seriously enjoyed this and would highly recommend it.

Tasting Notes & Details

Oh yummy, sweet toffee apples definite caramel notes and instantly reminded me of Halloween, light farmyard notes and gentle notes of Demerara sugar topped creek brûlée

Tangy apples first followed by those caramel weathers and toffee apples, a hint of buttery croissants

Quite a bit dryer than I was expecting but with a lovely toffee apple sweetness coming through also.
