Jura Tastival 2017 Review

Jura Tastival 2017Every year during the Feis Ile (Islay festival of Whisky and Music) Jura host a day also, they are afterall, very good neighbours.

This years release is the Tastival 2017, was matured in American oak ex bourbon and then ex Grahams port, port pipes from the Duoro value. Bottled at 51% ABV i was seriously excited to try this and even better that my first taste of it was in the distillery on the day it was released.

This review is based on a review sample not the bottle i tried on the day, salty, sweet and fruity, with a definite milkshake/lactic note, this is very tasty whisky, although the port doesnt come out as strongly as i would have liked personally, it's still a very drinkable dram.

Available to Buy from The Whisky Exchange

Thanks to Jura for the official sample.
