Teeling 14yr The Revival Volume III Review

Teeling 14yr The Revival Volume III The Revival Volume III is being released to celebrate the 18-month anniversary of the opening of the Teeling Whiskey Distillery and will be limited to only 10,000 bottles.

This is really quite light on the nose, with gentle spices coming to the fore, a splash of wine influence on he palate with tasty grape juices coming first.

There's a breath of spice on all elements with the light white pepper maintaining that finish for quite some time.

This is an interesting dram, it's one I could drink a lot of but also feel I'd struggle to finish the bottle as the spice grows.

Available to buy soon from Master of Malt

Thanks to Teeling for the official sample

Tasting Notes & Details

Initial fresh light sweet notes come first, followed by a spicyness that's a mix of Chinese five spice and crushed barley, then light syrup comes in with notes of cereals remaining strong, like a syrup coated weetabix, a little white grape juice also.

The wine elements are stronger here, sweet grape juice and barley sugars mix together pleasantly, a hint of bitter orange pith and orange peel oil as this goes thicker and more syrupy in consistency on the palate, a slight ground white pepper spice also

Drying, long with sweet syrups and ground white pepper
