Bruichladdich 1992 24yr (Wm Cadenheads) Review

Bruichladdich 1992 24yr (Wm Cadenheads) A small batch, 3 hogsheads, Cadenheads Bruichladdich matured for 24 yearsis the kind of dram that is right up my street.

Harking back to the Whyte and Mackay days of owning the distillery, there's a lot of sweet fruitiness in this dram with a victoria sponge cake note following through the nose into the palate along with hints of kiwi and a touch of chocolate and cream.

This is totally my type of dram, and one i wish i'd got more of than i did.

If you're not already drinking Cadenheads bottlings get over to Whisky Tasting Room to see their range today.

Initially quite rich and sweet, Victoria sponge mix, then a cooked Victoria sponge with crystalised sugar topping, vanilla essence and cinnamon powder, grassy and a hint of thick cream

Woody spicy cinnamon
