SMWS 5.53 Exotic Fruits and Eastern Spice Review

smws This Scotch Malt Whisky Society 5.53 Exotic fruits and Eastern spice a 16 year old dram matured for 14 years in ex bourbon then 2 years in ex sauternes

The combination of Distillery 5 and ex Sauternes is one i have fond memories of from SMWS 5.36 - Rubbing White Tiger Balm on Your Forehead, which was one of my favourite every SMWS bottlings.

This dram has sweet, light, floral lowland notes along with chocolate and fruit and it's just a delicious dram that i can see working a treat as an after dinner sipper.
