Talisker 30 Year Old Review

Talisker 30 I've had a fondness for Talisker for quite some time so when the opportunity arose to share a bottle of 30 year old Talisker I jumped at the chance.

This 30 year old was bottled in 2012 at Taliskers usual 45.8% ABV, and it's damn tasty stuff, lots of salty, peppery smoke and coastal notes and just an air of grace and beauty all around it.

Tasting Notes & Details

Nose

What a beautiful nose on this, very coastal up front, hints of peat reek but not overly som brown bread toast (without butter) summer berries with a large portion of blackberries, wet driftwood, vanilla essence in the background.

Palate

Juicy and mouthwatering off the bat, salty edible paper, juicy fruit chewing gum with a topping of rock salt, hints of peppered steak on a granite slab, hot stone

Finish

Peppery, growing, warming, sublime,
