Ardmore / Ardmore

Ardmore Traditional Review

Ardmore Traditional Thanks to David (@TIA568B) from Glenuntitled.com for the sample of this lovely peated Speysider.

Full of peaty goodness but with a touch of that Speyside sweetness we all know and love in there too.

I found it quite similar on the Nose to Benriach Curiositas and a lovely dram that i could easily drink.

why not pick up a bottle and try yourself from Master of Malt

Tasting Notes & Details

Nose

Smoky, but has a real hint of honey sweetness under that, almost a floral sweetness, reminiscent of heather honey

Palate

smoky on the tongue peat influence is there but not too strong, still sweet heather honey

Finish

tingly on the tongue but sweet honey charcoal smoke
