Glen Moray 2005 Burgundy Cask Distillery Fill Your Own Bottling Review

Glen Moray 2005 Burgundy Cask Distillery Fill Your Own Bottling Recently i finally managed to make the trip to Glen Moray distillery in Elgin, I took the train, which is a long and arduous journey, and will return again soon by car as train is not a pleasant way to travel that distance.

Whilst at the distillery the current Distillery Only Fill your Own bottling was this 2005 vintage ex Burgundy wine cask which really is punchy and full of flavour.

Full of sweet fruity notes, and a bitter coffee lovelyiness this is a really interesting dram and one i wish i'd got more of as i've just killed off the bottle.

I really recommend making it to Glen Moray and checking out their distillery bottlings, they really are great value for money and brilliant whisky.
