Glentauchers / Morrison & Mackay

Glentauchers 6yr Strictly Limited (Morrison & Mackay) Review

Glentauchers 6yr Strictly Limited (Carn Mor)When there's a reasonably priced dram of whisky and it's young (6 years old) many people will turn their nose up at it but the Strictly Limited range from Carn Mor, Provenance range from Douglas Laing and Hepburns Choice range from Hunter Laing are showing that young whiskies can be damn tasty.

This 6 year old sherried Glentauchers is a cracking dram full of those classic sherry matured notes of sweet rich fruits, its also more sweet, like PX than nutty like Oloroso.

Still available from the guys at The Whisky Barrel.
