anCnoc 1999 Vintage Review

anCnoc 1999 Vintage I was lucky enough recently to win a place on this anCnoc Vintages tweet tasting, I've been lucky enough to have tasted the anCnoc 2000 vintage previously but this 1999 and the 2001 are new to me.

I really liked the anCnoc 2000 so this is something that I can really get quite excited about trying.

Oh this is a tasty dram full of sweet and sugary fruits, lots of sherbet and tang, a seriously cracking dram, I really need to hunt out a bottle of this now.

Thanks to anCnoc for including The me on the tasting and the official sample.

Tasting Notes & Details

Nose

Sweet and citrusy, really waxy lemon peel and sherbet dib dabs, beeswax and furniture polish, plum and nectarine skin, tangy grapefruit, it's both sweet and tangy.

Palate

Rich and tangy, sweet juicy and full of rich fruits, spiced vanilla sugar and rich sweet figs, just keeps making my mouth water, some added icing sugar and crushed sugared almonds

Finish

Tasty, sweet, sugary, mouthwatering.
