Mr Whiteheads Boxing Dog Review

Mr Whiteheads Boxing Dog This is another purchase of a pint (or two) via the guys at Growler Beers (if you like beer or cider and are Edinburgh or lothians based you need to give them a try.

This is Boxing Dog from Mr Whiteheads, a company that i had not heard of prior to ordering from Growler Beers.

Tasty stuff but the palate is too much on the bitter side of things for me, lots of sherbet lemon notes and lots of bitterness by with hints of sweetness ... Really this is bittersweet.

Not sweet enough for me, but very drinkable all the same

Tasting Notes & Details

Nose

This is really light and juicy there's edges of light citrus/lemony notes and sherbety, this I would very much describe as bittersweet and very interesting.

Palate

Bitter rather than sweet sherbety and sour haribos with lemony notes

Finish

Bittersweet quite dry also
