Gwynt Y Ddraig Happy Daze Review

Gwynt Y Ddraig Happy Daze I've really enjoyed the Gwynt Y Ddraig ciders I've tried so far so when I noticed Growler Beers (check out their site if you're in Edinburgh) stock them so I ordered up a couple including this Happy Daze Cider.

This is right up my street it's sweet enough to let me drink lots of it but the ABV is low enough to not be too much.

The mix of sweet and slightly tangy on the palate and drying on the finish make this a very very drinkable cider.

Yet again I'm seriously interested in Gwynt Y Ddraig ciders and want to try much more of their range.

Tasting Notes & Details

Nose

This is yummy it's light caramel topping over sweet crunchy apples, almost like a caramel toffee apple, light and fresh and hints of citrus fruits.

Palate

Light and tangy apples with just enough sweetness to make it seriously moreish for me, some citrus and elderflower notes also

Finish

Sweet tasting but slightly drying on the palate, this is fabulous
