Jacobite 250 Review

Ok so this one is still a mystery to me, a sample provided by a friend a little while ago and they no longer have the bottle for me to check more info on.

The information i was given was that this Jacobite 250 was distilled in 1965 was 65.4% ABV and was a vatted malt (remember them) of highland, island and speyside malts. It was decanter no 88/250 and was a Limited Edition to commemorate the July Jacobite Uprising of 1745.

Research online suggests this was bottled by The Whisky Connoisseur but can find no information on it. if you know any more about this bottle please drop me a line.

Tasting Notes & Details

Massive amounts on grassy notes, sweet but with a lot of acetone there too sweet pear juice and malted biscuits

malty and oaky stewed pears and brown sugar
