Deanston Bottle Your Own Amontillado Cask Review

Deanston Bottle Your Own Amontillado Cask This Deanston Bottle Your Own Amontillado Cask was distilled in 2004 and bottled at the distillery 10 years later the sample provided by Barry Bradford (@thewhiskyphiles) from The WhiskyPhiles blog

Matured for 9 years in an ex-bourbon cask before being transferred to an ex amontillado cask for the remainder of its maturation.

This is seriously tasty stuff with loads of lovely sweet fruity notes with toffee and butterscotch along with spices of cinnamon and clove.

The balance of sweet and spicy works really well and i really enjoyed this dram.

Thanks again to Barry (@thewhiskyphiles) for the sample (and from whom i've also pinched the picture)
