Glen Scotia 15 Year Old Review

Glen Scotia 15 Year Old Glen Scotia is one of those distilleries where i really quite like the character of and yet i'm guilty of not trying or buying as much of it as i would normally.

Recently i seen this Glen Scotia 15 Year Old though and couldn't help but give it a try.

Glen Scotia 15 year old is a dirty, oily, grimy, fruity, sweet, wonderful dram that really does capture everything about Campbeltown, this is a cracker of a dram and one i'd heartily recommend you try.

Available from Specialists like Master of Malt.

Tasting Notes & Details

Nose

There it is that Engine oil note that i get all the time with Glen Scotia, and sweet sherry notes with a real dirty nose that's got fruits and oily waxy fruit bites also, lots of sweet sugary plums.

Palate

Sweet and gentle plums and prunes with dirty engine oil and waxy fruit peel, lots of gentle fruits and syrup too

Finish

Spicy fruity and gentle sweetness
