Thatchers 2015 Vintage Oak Aged Somerset Cider Review

Thatchers 2015 Vintage Oak Aged Somerset Cider I've tried the 2013 vintage oak aged Somerset cider and really enjoyed it so when this arrived along with a couple of other new release Thatchers Ciders I was excited to try it.

This cider is filled with lovely yoghurty notes along with fabulous sweet fresh cloudy Apple Juice and farmyard hay bales.

I really really like this cider, will definitely be hunting out more of these ciders in the coming months.

Thanks to Thatchers Cider for the sample of this fine cider.

Tasting Notes & Details

Nose

Lovely cloudy Apple notes with gentle oak vanilla notes, hints of farmyard hay bales and straw, there's a touch of sweetness that comes through also and a touch of yoghurt goodness.

Palate

Sweet fruity yoghurt with farmyard hay bales and lovely fresh cloudy Apple juice then a gentle edge of citrus fruits.

Finish

Medium sweet, I was expecting a little drier, really yoghurty.
