COmpass box flaming heart Sampled as part of The Whisky Wire's Twitter Tasting series this Compass Box Flaming Heart 2012 (or Batch 4) is a smoky indulgence that should be experienced by everyone.

It is perfectly balanced with smoke and fruits and the oak influence is clear but not overpowering, a lovely dram.

Tasting Notes & Details

Nose

Light smoke, like sitting next to an open fire while sniffing citrus fruits, lemons and limes and a touch of vanilla

Palate

fudge and licquorice with smoke and citrus fruits a real tongue teaser

Finish

kicks like a mule massive smoky peppery finish
