Glenmorangie Tayne Review

Glenmorangie Tayne This Glenmorangie Tayne is part of the Travel Retail exclusive Legends series and has began to hit World of Whiskies outlets in the UK this week.

The Glenmorangie Tayne is exclusive to UK World of Whiskies outlets and specialist outlets in the US until 31st March 2016.

The Glenmorangie Tayne honours the legend of a Spanish Galleon which during the Armada in 1588, got seperated and lost and ended up running aground in the Dornoch Firth (at the time it was known as the Firth of Tayne) spilling it's precious cargo which remains there to this day.

The Spanish connection is continued with this dram being finished in Amontillado Sherry casks.

This Glenmorangie Tayne will join Glenmorangie Duthac as a permanent addition to the Travel Retail Legends range with the Glenmorangie Dornoch, a limited time exclusive, being replaced later this year with Talogan.

I really enjoyed this dram, lots and lots of fruity flavours and plenty of toffee and nuts, there's none of the popcorny note i get with young whisky and if you're looking for something new to market then this will definitely be up your street.
