Teeling Small Batch Irish Whiskey Review

Teeling Small batch This is the 22nd Day of the whisky advent calendar with this Teeling Small Batch Irish Whiskey

I really haven't spent enough time trying Teeling Drams, and I know lots of my whisky blogging friends are big fans so there must be something about them that works well, let's dive in and see.

There's a lot of sweet, gentle fruity melon notes in here which I love with malty biscuity notes and a touch of smoke in here too.

This is a really tasty dram and I now see exactly why my blogger friends love Teeling so much.

Available from specialists like Master of Malt

Thanks to Drinks by the Dram for the calendar and thus sample.

Tasting Notes & Details

Nose

Really quite malty, almost has a touch of light and gentle smoke, there's fruit in here too, it's light tropical fruits with sweet honeydew and galia melon, some biscuity oat cake like notes also, nice and gentle nose.

Palate

There's a tang of spice initially, then malty biscuits, and melon slices, another hint of light gentle light balsa wood smoke, light and sweet, gentle and subtle.

Finish

Sweet and gentle, woody and malty.
