Sheppys Somerset Draught Cider Review

Sheppys Somerset Draught Cider Another Sheppys variant this time from my local off licence, Ellies Cellar, is this Sheppys Somerset Draught Cider.

The bottle says crisp and fruity and is a mix of cider and eating apples.

This is really quite a crisp tangy almost citrusy cider really nice stuff would be good with a nice creamy dessert in the summer etc.

Another lovely cider from Sheppys really can't do wrong for me at the moment.

Tasting Notes & Details

Nose

Proper farmyard hay and sour homegrown apples up front here, tangy and almost fizzy on the nose, slightly sulphury but nothing that bothers me, makes my mouth water.

Palate

Fruity but very tangy, crisp citrus fruits and tangy apples, hints of hay and dried farm crops, a slighty yoghurty note too

Finish

Quite dry and crisp, hints of citrus fruits
